In December 2021, Shui On Land and Wuhan Urban Construction Group successfully won the bid of an unrivaled site that sits strategically beside the Yangtze River and Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan. Located between the city’s Inner Ring Road and Second Ring Road, the site has historically been important as a core city gateway. Located on the right bank of the Yangtze River, it functions as the key section for the main axis of urban planning, favored by superior ecological resources and profound cultural heritage. The project covers a total area of approximate 33 hectares, with a GFA of about 1.15 million sq.m., including 170,000 sq.m. of Fortune 500 headquarters, Grade 5A office buildings and five-star hotels, 130,000 sq.m. of Xintiandi waterfront commercial blocks, 780,000 sq.m. of riverside international settlements, K12 quality education, among other diversified and high-end amenities. Further, landmark cultural and art projects will also be introduced to create an all-weather dynamic place and all-inclusive international settlements.
