Chongqing Tiandi

Chongqing Tiandi is located at the centre of the city's Yuzhong District. Overall planning for the project was carried out by the US architectural consultant Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). It also benefitted from the expertise of top designers from across the world, including Ben Woods and KPF from America and Ove Arup & Partners from Britain, contributed to the project's sustainable planning and highly creative spatial design. Amidst Chongqing's gorgeous natural surroundings, they drew up meticulous blueprints for a 2.8 million sq.m. urban complex combining commercial, entertainment, shopping, and residential facilities.Chongqing Tiandi is a complex that includes a prestigious residential area, commercial centre, leisure and entertainment facilities, and is comprised of Corporate Avenue's super 5A-grade office buildings, Jialing Central Mall, Chongqing Tiandi Leisure and Entertainment Quarter, an artificial lake and wetlands park, and The Riviera. By providing top quality business and residential premises for global financial institutions and commercial organisations, it has become a unique new urban centre for Chongqing that combines world-class riverside attractions, commercial premises, and public facilities.

In 2012, Chongqing Tiandi was recognized as Chongqing International Business District (IBD) by the city's government.In 2015, Chongqing Xintiandi was officially designated as a AAAA National Tourist Attraction by China’s Tourist. Now the go-to destination for international businesspeople in Chongqing.

The Riviera: With a wide range of facilities including a shopping mall, international school and exclusive club house,The Riviera fulfill all of residents' living, business, entertainment, shopping, and leisure needs, and are already home to Chongqing-based international executives from over 10 different countries. The residential phases “Riviera I to VII & Lake Ville Phase 1 to 2” have been completed and progressively delivered to customers since 2008, comprising a total GFA of 998,000 sq.m.. 

Chongqing Tiandi leisure and entertainment quarter: The Chongqing Tiandi Leisure and Entertainment Quarter covers a total area of 84,000 square meters and was designed by Mr. Ben Wood, the American urban renewal specialist behind the design of Shanghai Xintiandi. It perfectly incorporates traditional Chongqing architecture with a modern commercial style, creating an international urban centre of business and leisure that combines culture, tourism, dining, entertainment, and the arts. Like Shanghai Xintiandi, it has become a gathering point for fashion professionals, expats, and luminaries of the international business community.

Corporate Avenue : Located on the easternmost side of Chongqing Tiandi, it includes the 10 office buildings of Corporate Avenue as well as the Jialing Central Mall. It borders Jiahua Bridge to the east and Chongqing Tiandi special business centre to the west, and spans a building area of over 1.25 million square meters. Tenants include Deloitte, Schneider Electric, KONE, DAIKIN, Mitsubishi, Sony and other international companies, creating a highly dynamic international business environment. Jialing Sailing International Commercial Centre is located at One Corporate Avenue and is the tallest building in the Corporate Avenue. With a planned height of 468 meters, upon completion it will also become the tallest building in Western China. This leaf-shaped skyscraper stands proudly on the shores of Jialing River at the forefront of Western China's economic growth. Corporate Avenue 2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 with a total
GFA of 351,000 sq.m. for office use have been sold to buyers
from 2011 to 2013. 

Artificial lake and Wetlands Park: The Chongqing Tiandi artificial lake and Wetlands Park has a planned area of 270,000 square meters and will be the first landscaped conservation area in Chongqing. Exactly 50% of this unique area will be covered with sloping green lawns. In addition, a dynamic musical fountain is planned for the north lake, while the southern half of the park will feature a quietly enchanting wetlands area.

On 26 May 2017, the Group sold a 79.2% interest in the portfolio of 11 parcels at the Chongqing Tiandi (“Chongqing Partnership Portfolio”) for a total consideration of RMB 4,133 million. The transaction was completed on 29 June 2017. The Group has 19.8% of effective interest of the partnership portfolio.
