Shui On Land Receives Three Awards from Corporate Governance Asia

Corporate Governance Asia magazine presented the 11th Asian Excellence Awards and Shui On Land received top honors in three critical categories last year:

  • Mr. Vincent Lo, Chairman of Shui On Land, named Asia's Best CEO
  • Mr. Douglas Sung, Managing Director and CFO of Shui On Land, named Asia’s Best CFO
  • Shui On Land awarded Asia's Best Investor Relations Company

The Asian Excellence Awards recognize corporate leaders and entrepreneurs who have demonstrated strong social responsibility and are leading companies that are fully supporting sustainable development practices.

Mr. Vincent Lo, Chairman of Shui On Land, was awarded Asia's Best CEO in recognition of his contributions to sustainable development.  This is an important cornerstone of Shui On Land’s business and it is reflected clearly in the Group’s commitment to integrating sustainability principles into all aspects of its operations.  

In addition, Mr. Douglas Sung, Managing Director and CFO, was awarded Asia’s Best CFO in recognition of his strong leadership of Shui On Land as a public entity which has navigated carefully through difficult macro-economic conditions and achieved visible recovery in 2021.

These awards recognize the important work we are doing to build Shui On Land responsibly, support sustainable development for our Company and communities. Since the inception of our Company, sustainable development has been an integral part of our business, reflected in the commitment to preserving architectural and cultural heritage and building vibrant communities to support healthy living.

The Asian Excellence Awards also honor companies that are focused on communicating well and openly with shareholders and Shui On Land has been recognized for its continued efforts in building a successful investor relations program.
