Chongqing Tiandi Riviera Phase 1 open for sale

Sales of Blocks 5 and 6 of Phase 1 of Riviera at Chongqing Tiandi commenced on March 29. In addition to local home buyers, the residential units have also attracted Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and foreign buyers. The highest price to date is over RMB15,000/sq.m., a new record for high-rise residential units in Chongqing.

The first phase of residential development in Chongqing Tiandi, Riviera is located on the west end of the Hualongqiao area, overlooking the scenic Jialing and Yangtze rivers. Units for sale measure 119 to 132 sq.m. and each features three bedrooms, a dining room, a living room and two bathrooms. They are all decorated units with river views. The development is in a ring-shaped design, with a terraced garden at the centre. The garden offers different views at different levels, providing tenants with elegant outdoor space as well as a platform to interact with neighbours.

Phase 1 of Riviera is expected to be slated for completion and handover to buyers on 31 October 2008.

Interior refurbishment of 26/F Shui On Plaza awarded LEED-CI Silver Certification

The interior design of the 26th floor of Shui On Plaza was awarded the LEED-CI (LEED for Commercial Interior) silver certification on 29 February following the stringent evaluation by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). This honour can be attributed to Shui On’s sustainable development strategy and “Green Office” principle.

The LEED system is an internationally recognised green building rating system managed by the USGBC. LEED-CI is the system used to certify commercial interior. Credits are categorised as the following: sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation and design process.
