2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games Officially Closed in Jiangwan Stadium

On October 11, KIC's Jiangwan Stadium hosted a grand closing ceremony for the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games.

Many Shui On departments were involved in creating this special event. Project Management department participated in more than 30 remodeling projects of Jiangwan Stadium. The KIC operations staff oversaw these remodeling projects, as well as site preservation, on-site management and the establishment of the Media Center, also liaising with appropriate government officials. Joined by the Project Management staff, they devoted their time during National Holiday. The property and on-site management team spent some sleepless nights during Typhoon Krosa to support the event. The Marketing Service department created many advertisements, banners and sculptures to add to the atmosphere of the overall event and also worked with Public Relations to create a "Memory Wall" displaying features of Shanghai.

Mr. Hui Shing Sun said, "The success of the closing ceremonies of 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games also showed the commitment of Shui On staff to work with district and city governments for the benefit of the community."
