The Board of SOL passes a resolution to participate in Dalian Software Park Phase 2
SOL SOCAM and Yida Group signed the Joint Venture Agreement on 25 May, with the terms of the partnership remain as stated in the MOU signed on 19 March.
SOL and SOCAM will own a 48% and 22% of the interest in the Project respectively while Yida Group the remaining 30%. The project will be developed over multiple stages with the expected investment reaching RMB 1.5 billion. Covering a gloss floor area of 3.9 million square meters, Dalian Software Park phase 2 will be developed into an international software and information service center with the aim of providing facilities for the emerging information science-tech software outsourcing and business process outsourcing industry.
“Be Inspired” Shanghai Xintiandi Art Fest 2007
“Life Defined by Inspiration” – 2007 Shanghai Xintiandi Art Campaign that lasts one month was unveiled on May 24th in the hope of bringing about unprecedented life experience to the public through 3 large art shows.
Show 1:3D Painting Show From May 24th to May 30th, Mr. Kurt Wenner would paint on-site a 3D painting named “An Unexpected Guest to the Afternoon Tea” that he created for Xintiandi and Shanghai in the Nanli Plaza of Xintiandi, enabling the audience to witness the creation of artwork with their own eyes. In the mean time, another work “Fishing Old Shanghai” by the master was on display on the view platform of the manmade lake.
Show 2:FLOWmarket On May 24th, FLOWmarket designed and created by Danish artist Mads HagstrØm was opened. This is a shop that inspires consumers to think and live and makes shopping more meaningful. It sells thinking, awareness and quality that are in dire shortage in this fast expanding world.
Show 3:Connect @ Xintiandi Public Art Show On June 9th, Virginie together with artist Zhang Lansheng and photographer Tom Platzer will invite passer-bys to jointly create “Connect @ Xintiandi Public Art Show”, which symbolizes the “connection between human beings and between human and art”.
