The 1st Ireland Week kicks off in Xintiandi
From March 10 to 18, the exotically flavored “1st Ireland Week” was held in Shanghai Xintiandi. From Shui On Plaza, Xintiandi to Taipingqiao Man-made lake, the entire area was in tones of green, fully manifesting the charm of Ireland as an Emerald Isle.

The traditional Irish singing and dancing performances, colorful photo exhibition, the pluralistic contemporary art exhibition, prize experience of Irish special drinks and exhilarating cheese tasting contest have given Shanghai people a real life experience of the magnificent festival activities in the most westward corner of Europe. The St.Patrick’s Day carnival and parade constituted a significant part of the “Ireland Week”.
