Mayor of Kunming visited main development projects of Shui On Land Limited in Shanghai

On December 24 2006, the Kunming Delegation led by Mr. Wang Wentao, Mayor of Kunming arrived in Shanghai. Accompanied by Mr. Vincent Lo, Chairman & CEO of Shui On Land Limited, they visited Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC), Shanghai Xintiandi, Corporate Avenue and Lakeville Regency. Mayor Wang expressed his admiration towards the unique development idea and perfect overall planning of Shui On Land Limited.

Part of Jiangwan Sports Center opens to the public

Part of Jiangwan Sports Center is opened to the public now. Jiangwan Sports Center boasts Jiangwan Stadium, one of the finest historical buildings in Shanghai as its main facility. As the public activity center of Knowledge & Innovation Community, Jiangwan Sports Center aims to become a place where scientific talents can comfortably work, live and entertain themselves; therefore contributing to the strategic goal of "joint development of three districts" lay out by Yangpu District Government.

Main sports facilities in the Center include Jiangwan Stadium, gym and natatorium. Shui On Land Limited was entrusted by Shanghai Sports Bureau, which has invested nearly 200 million yuan in the project, to conduct reconstruction and management of the Center. The facility opened this time is Chinese garden area, which opens from 5:30 am to 1 o'clock pm.

After its completion, Jiangwan Sports Center will accommodate new sports such as tennis, basketball, rock climbing and fitness and serve as a main venue for large scale activities and public gathering.
