Shui On Land and Cisco to Build World-Class Digital Communities in China

MOU-3.JPGMOU-1.JPGOn 16th November, Shui On Land Limited and Cisco Systems International BV held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony and announced they intend to work together to build world-class digital communities in China by applying the Cisco Connected Real Estate (CCRE) solutions. On behalf of their respective companies, Mr. Louis Wong, Managing Director from Shui On Land and Mr. Thomas Lam, President of Cisco Systems (China) Networking Technologies Co., Ltd. signed the MOU. Chairman and CEO of Shui On Land, Mr. Vincent Lo and Mr. Owen Chan, Senior Vice President of Cisco Systems and President of Asia Pacific Cisco Systems, Inc., witnessed the signing together with Mr. Chen Anjie, Secretary of Yangpu District Party Committee. Nearly 80 journalists from mainland and international media attended the ceremony.

罗先生致词.JPGShui On Land and Cisco plan to first collaborate at the Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) project, to establish a Digital Experience Show Suite to showcase the CCRE solutions that have been introduced for the first MOU-4.JPGtime in the PRC real estate industry. The collaboration with Cisco will be extended to Shui On Land's other quality property projects in China, subject to the needs of each project and the results of individual feasibility studies.

After the ceremony, guests and media visited the KIC Show Suite to experience advanced interactive communications including Cisco Unified Advantage, wireless LAN, IP Telephone, and IP surveillance solutions, which will bring convenience and brand-new technology experience to our lives.


“Winner 100” Season II Kicks Off

Season II of television show “Winner 100” has officially kicked off on Shanghai Dragon show-2.JPGTV on 11th November. After rounds of selection from original submissions, face-to-face interviews and training camp, 16 business elites stood out to enter the finals in a 13-week long live television show.

show-4.jpgshow-3.jpgTheir first task was to organize a Shanghai feature tour. The Men's team chose a gardening tour, and the Women's team opted for a dessert tour. The Women’s team won with a profit of RMB347, while the Men's team only netted a profit of RMB268. One of the four contestants most responsible for the Men's team's loss, namely Zhong Jianhong, Ji Jieyu. Xu Qin and team leader Shao Yijia, was to be eliminated. After voting by the professional judges, the audience (via SMS), and the public judging panel, “sunny guy” Xu Qin became the first to be sent home.

One of the key attractions of this season is that it is a “Truman Show” – the competitors all live in KIC during the entire contest, with 12 hidden cameras capturing their every move, 24 hours a day. The show will be broadcast at 7:30 every Saturday night on Dragon TV, and the winner of the prize of RMB 1 million will be selected in the final episode on February 3, 2007. Don't miss it!
