During the trip, Shui On introduced KIC’s development concept and gave the latest updates on the development of the Yangpu district to the forum attendees as well as other technology companies, venture capital firms, social organizations and scholars. Silicon Valley’s success inspired SOL’s executives, who walked away with a greater appreciation of how to develop KIC.

Furthermore, numerous technology companies, strategic partners and overseas Chinese whom the team met expressed their keen interest in KIC. By establishing or expanding business at KIC, they believed that a synergy of like-minded companies would enable them to reach greater heights.

KIC-sponsored “Wise Man Takes All” returns for a second season

第二次的合作更加顺畅.jpgThe first season of the “Wise Man Takes All” show sponsored by Shui On Land was a smash hit on TV in 2005. This year, KIC will again sponsor the second season of the reality show produced by Dragon TV and CBN.

A press conference was held at KIC’s showroom on August 16th to announce the new season of “Wise Man Takes All.” Executive Director of Shanghai Shui On Development Limited Mr. S.S. Hui as well as P1000166.JPGrepresentatives from Dragon TV and CBN gave the opening speeches. Last year’s champion, Mr. Chen Xi, shared his successful experience over the past few months. The press conference attracted reporters from over 50 media outlets.

The new season particularly encourages young people and university students to participate in the competition. One of the show’s key attractions is that it is a “Truman Show” – real events are far more interesting than staged drama. Moreover, the show will get up close and personal with the contestants to provide 360°observation and amusement, and will include live broadcasts of the audience’s choices that will determine the winners and losers. The winner, who has to excel in 12 business tasks, will receive RMB 1 million to start a business. 现场媒体.jpg

From October 28th onwards, viewers can once again feel the passion of competitors hoping to realize their ambitions. The whole season will last 13 weeks, with one episode per week.
