The Official Groundbreaking of “Hankou Tiandi” Project in Wuhan

武汉开工仪式现场.jpgFeb 16th, Shui On Land’s new redevelopment project in YongQing district of Wuhan, which is named Hankou Tiandi, has been officially broken the ground. Mr. Vincent LO, Wilfred Wong and Freddy Li, who is the general manager of Shui On Land’s Wuhan branch, officiated the ceremony along with the representatives from Wuhan Government.

It was stilly raining during the ceremony. Mr. Lo smartly bantered the attending guests that, “This indicates this project will go on wheels”. Each head guests then followed with breaking ground and stippling the Lion’s eyes. The Hankou Tiandi project has kicked off officially with the encouraging gangs and tambours.

罗主席点睛.jpgIt is the first large-scale development in central China for Shui On Land, in order to boost the Strategy of “Rise of Central China”, which is an Internationalization Plan of Wuhan and Central government.

Hankou Tiandi is located in the Jiangan district, covering a site area of approximately 610,000 square meters, and consists of two main sites. Site A will comprise office buildings, F & B, entertainment and retail facilities. Site B will comprise mainly residential units supported by commercial services and amenities. The total gross floor area is approximately 1.5 million square meters, the project will take eight to ten years to complete.
