Shui On Land Receives the 2005 Cobalt Tower Award

Shui On Land received the 2005 Cobalt Tower Award from the US Green Building Council (USGBC) to commemorate its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable property development in China. Earlier in the year, Phase II of Xihu Tiandi was awarded the LEED-CS Platinum Award for its sustainable development design concept. Xihu Tiandi was the first project in the world ever to receive the award.

Organized by USGBC, LEED Green Building Rating System became an important assessment standard for green buildings and sustainable project developments around the world. The platinum award is the highest honor. Among the 50-plus projects evaluated as green buildings, only a few reached the platinum standard.

Xintiandi Voted Shanghai's Best Leisure-Entertainment Area

"Shanghai Xintiandi" was recently voted the best among "Shanghai's Top 10 Leisure-Entertainment Streets".

The Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission and Xinmin Evening News co-conducted this poll which focused on entertainment zones that represent the look and feel of Shanghai, while serving the multi-functional purposes of sight-seeing, entertainment, food and beverage, and retail. After two months of voting by experts and over 13,000 Shanghai citizens, Shanghai Xintiandi, which perfectly balances history and contemporary lifestyle, ranked top among the ten best places.

Other winners included the Nanjing Road East pedestrian area, Waterfront Road, Duolun Road ( Cultural and Celebrity Street), Hengshan Road, Meichuan Road ( Euro-Asian leisure area), Zhong Shan Road East ( The Bund), Shanghai Old Street, Qibao Old Street, Zhu Jia Jiao Street North.

Show Rooms of KIC and Lakeville Regency Open to the Public

 The Sales Offices of KIC and The Lakeville Regency were opened to the public on Nov 14 and 15 respectively. Mr. S.S. Hui, Mr. Mike Hung, Mr. Lawrence Wu and Mr. K.W. Tang attended the two opening ceremonies.

The residential development of Phase I at KIC comprises four blocks with a total of 673 units of low-rise apartment-offices and apartments catering for the needs of professionals in IT and innovation. The Lakeville Regency echoes the Art-Deco style with a French-style garden design concept. Upon completion, it will have 17 blocks with a total of 645 luxurious units.
