'Wise Man Takes All' Becomes 'Talk of the Town'

Sep2-1.jpg Following a launch ceremony on Sep 8, the debut episode of 'Wise Man Takes All' (Chuangzhi Winner) aired on Dragon TV on September 17, when the 16 finalists entered the third phase of the competition: the 90-day TV reality show.

The candidates were divided into 'Team E8', which consisted of the younger contestants, and 'Team Flame'. Team E8 won the first challenge, which was filmed in Thailand, to guarantee a place for all team members in the next round. The teams were blindfolded and taken to a small fishing village outside of Bangkok. Without money, they had a range of items to choose from that they could barter in exchange for transportation back to Bangkok.

Sep2-2.jpgTheir task in the second episode was to develop an innovative service or product to market in Shanghai Xintiandi with a budget of RMB 5,000. Team Flame recruited craftsmen to produce traditional artifacts to attract tourists while Team E8 organized a floral arrangement show in the plaza at the South block of Xintiandi. Team Flame outperformed Team E8 on innovation, profitability and branding strategy that fit well into Xintiandi's image.

Official Launch of KIC Marketing Campaign

The Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), a pioneering project developed by Shui On Land and the Yangpu District Government, was publicly launched. Mr. Vincent Lo, Mr. Wilfred Wong and a select group of Yangpu District Government officials attended a press conference held on September 13 that attracted a number of leading local media including China Business Network TV, Shanghai Morning Post and Shanghai Daily.
