'Wise Man Takes All', co-sponsored by Shui On Land, attracted more than 10,000 entries for the competition. The first phase of screening the business plans and the second phase of interviews in Chongqing, Wuhan, Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai were successfully completed. The competition will soon proceed to the third phase, when the competition will be aired in a TV reality-show. The 16 finalists will be announced at the end of August and the show will run for 13 weeks from September 17. The winner, who will have survived 12 rounds of eliminations, will be rewarded RMB 1 million as a start-up fund for their business plan.
Mr.Max Li, General Manager of Chongqing Tiandi, and Mr.Freddy Lee, General Manager of the Wuhan Project, participated in the judging panel during the interviews in Chongqing and Wuhan respectively, challenging contestants with questions targeting the weakness of their business plans. Mr. Louis Wong, Mr.Lawrence Wu and Mr.S.S.Hui also took part in the judging process in Shanghai. The competition attracted two intriguing contestants in Shanghai: a former star - Li Ji, showed up with his business plan and the legendary now 20-something wunderkin, Chen Xi, who already set up four companies, attended to pursue his entrepreneurial dream once again. Participants generally agreed that Shui On Land has given them a great opportunity to possibly realize their dream. |
