Hangzhou – Xihu Tiandi

Hangzhou:

Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, is about 200 km south-west of Shanghai and known as "Paradise on Earth". With its natural beauty and a rich historical and cultural heritage, this popular tourist destination attracts approximately 40 million visitors every year. The West Lake, known for its exhilarating scenic beauty, has become the icon of Hangzhou.

Xihu Tiandi:

This redevelopment project is situated beside Hangzhou's celebrated West Lake, one of China's most famous and appreciated areas of natural beauty. Xihu Tiandi is a leisure and lifestyle destination incorporating F&B, entertainment and retail facilities, drawing design inspiration from Hangzhou's Jiangnan architectural style and lush, green environment.

With a planned gross floor area of 75,000 sq.m., the project will set both environmental and building standards that are only beginning to be adopted in some of the world's most advanced development projects.

Features include:

Phase 1 features selected restaurants, cafes, retail shops and entertainment outlets in a park environment

Phase 2 is designed to be a historic restoration project that is intended to offer a blend of traditional and modern architecture to provide a unique experience for visitors

Sustainable design concept to save non-renewable energy and preserve the environment; awarded Platinum Pre-certification Certificate of the LEED-CS from the US Green Building Council in 2005. Xihu Tiandi was the first project in the world to receive the pre-certification.
