Chongqing Tiandi’s The Riviera II fetched good sales
Chongqing Tiandi launched its first 370 units of The Riviera II on 6 December. A total of 330 units was sold over that weekend at the average price of RMB10,300 per sq.m., representing a 90% sales rate and generating RMB300 million. The project’s commercial cluster will trial run by end of January 2010, and its serene man-made lake in 270,000 sq.m. will be open in 2010.
Trendy retailers at KIC
KIC has introduced new retailers recently to its 700-metre long University Avenue to offer a fresh shopping experience for nearby residents, tenants, young white-collars, as well as some 200,000 teachers and students of 14 universities including Fudan University and Tongji University. Popular brands include Nike, Adidas, Puma, Converse, Orange City, G-star, Timberland, Korean shop Easy House etc. Newly opened dining places include Coffee Bean, Yogo, B&O Italian restaurant and L’ecole. The B&O Italian Restaurant is operated by Korean graduates at Fudan University.
In addition, the KIC Plaza in a planned leasable GFA of 100,000 sq.m. will be completed by second quarter of next year and its leasing is in progress. The metro line 10 to be open in the same period will provide a convenient link contributing to the flow of shoppers and boost tenants’ businesses to our metro mall in a planned GFA of 15,000 sq.m.
K-ICE – Shanghai’s first outdoor ice rink launched
KIC bubbled with festive cheer this winter with the opening of “K-ICE”, the first ever open air ice rink in Shanghai. Officiated at by Director of Projects Mr. Hui Shing-sun on 23 December, its solid opening day recorded over 200 skating lovers to enjoy a spin on a 648 sq.m. ice rink in picturesque surroundings. Opening till 28 February 2010, K-ICE will hold music parties with special lighting effects every Friday night, and provide free coach service during weekends.
