Phase 1 to 3 of Wuhan Tiandi’s commercial A4 parcel completed

Wuhan Tiandi celebrated the completion of its Phase 1 to 3 of commercial A4 parcel and held its Christmas lighting ceremony officiated at by Shui On Land Chairman Mr. Vincent Lo, Vice Mayor of Wuhan, Consul General of France in Wuhan, Cultural Consul of Korean etc on 19 November. A Christmas house featuring tiger at Wuhan Tiandi was also opened on that night to sell care tiger gifts to raise money for the Children of Madaifu Association via Shui On Seagull Club to help orphans in deprived areas in China.

Shui On Land’s Annual Report 2008 won the Honourable Mentions – Citation for Design of the 2009 Best Annual Reports Awards presented by the Hong Kong Management Association on 2 November. The panel of adjudicators praised for the front cover and highlight page designs of our Annual Report in particular. 88Xintiandi also recently won the “China's Leading Boutique Hotel” by “World Travel Awards” for third consecutive year. “World Travel Awards” is the most prestigious, comprehensive and sought after programme event in the global travel and tourism industry. A total of 167,000 travel tourism and hospitality professionals voted for the winners in different categories.

Jiangwan Stadium to stage first Australian football exhibition match in 2010

Director of Projects Mr. Hui Shing-sun on behalf of the Company signed the venue cooperative agreement with the Australian Football League (AFL) at Jiangwan Sports Centre on 20 November signifying the first Australian football exhibition match in China to be staged at Jiangwan Stadium on 17 October 2010. It is also one of the commemorative activities for AFL display in Shanghai’s World Expo. AFL star Jason Akermanis put on a kicking display of Australia’s indigenous game to schoolkids in Yangpu on the occasion.

First quality primary school at Chongqing Tiandi

Mr. Tang Ka-wah, Director of Chongqing project, representing the Company has recently signed a collaborative agreement with Renhejie Primary School in Yuzhong District to establish the first quality primary school at Chongqing Tiandi. It is the first time for Renhejie Primary School with 66 years of history to jointly set up a new campus together with a private company. With a site area of 20,000 sq.m., the new internationalised school will provide the best education environment in Chongqing.
