KIC Village SOHO fetches encouraging sales
SOHO units of KIC Village Phase 2 measuring from 70-220 sq.m. were launched on 5 September. More than 95% of the units sold out on the first day, and clinched all deals at the unit price from RMB17,000-22,000 per sq.m. within a week. Buyers include small-and-medium-sized entrepreneurs, university students, academics, government officials, professionals, as well as investors. The residential show flats of KIC Village will be opened in early October.

Our Chairman Mr. Vincent Lo attended the World Economic Forum’s Third Annual Meeting of the New Champions (2009 Summer Davos) held in Dalian in early September joining over 1,300 influential stakeholders including policy-makers and representatives of governments, CEO's of companies from around the world to thoroughly discuss the global overview of major economic problems and cooperations. He also accepted an interview by a world professional service firm Ernst & Young on enterprise growth though entrepreneurship and innovation.
SOL Annual Reports reap International ARC Awards for two consecutive years
Shui On Land Limited’s Annual Report 2008 has further fetched five accolades at the latest International ARC Awards (see the list below), in addition to the three honours reaped in this same competition last year. Themed "Opportune Strategy, Timely Moves", the Annual Report 2008 adopts Chinese chess design. We believe that our business plan reflects the ageless traditions of Chinese chess. Our chessboard is China, where through our prudence and timely moves we became a pioneer property developer.

These awards pay tribute to our annual reports which are of international standard in terms of both content and design. As the largest and most authoritative international competition honouring excellence in annual reports for 23rd year, the ARC Awards are recognised as the “Academy Awards of Annual Reports". Judging criteria include creativity, clarity, effectiveness and excellence, in particular to reviewing cover design, chairman’s reports, interior design, clarity of written text, photography, presentation of corporate information, and expression of financial data.
