Shui On Group and AGRICULTURE BANK OF CHINA signed MOU
On 12 February, Shui On Group (SOG) and AGRICULTURE BANK OF CHINA (ABC) signed a MOU to kick off a full-scale collaboration. According to the memorandum, subject to the formal approval by ABC, ABC will provide SOG with a total of RMB13 billion 3-year loan facility in which RMB8 billion is for project development of Shui On Land and a sum of RMB5 billion will be used on Lafarge Shui On Cement’s and China Central Properties’ project development. The memorandum further signifies both the Group and the Bank have full confidence towards long-term development of the market at large. Through long-term collaboration with ABC, SOG will consolidate her leadership role in the industry and to create more values for investors and customers.

Wuhan Tiandi project receives “Social Responsibility Outstanding Award”
On 12 February, the Wuhan Municipal Government presented the “Social Responsibility Outstanding Award” to Wuhan Tiandi project, recognising its substantial contributions as a good “corporate citizen”. As one of 20 recipients of this award, Wuhan project has become a model in corporate social responsibility.
Foshan Lingnan Tiandi clinches prestigious international architectural accolades
The Master Plan of Foshan Lingnan Tiandi has recently won several major international architectural awards, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Honour Award for Regional & Urban Design 2009, the profession’s highest recognition of works that exemplify excellence in architecture and urban design. Among six projects receiving this prestigious award, the Master Plan of Foshan Lingnan Tiandi is selected as a winner from more than 3,000 submissions from around the world. It is one of only two China projects bestowed this award. In addition, the project has also received Commended Award in the MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards 2009 in the category of Regeneration and Master Planning, and Merit Award for Urban Design 2008 from the AIA Hong Kong Chapter.
