Rui Hong Xin Cheng is located in the centre of Shanghai’s "golden triangle", formed by the Bund, North Bund and Lujiazui business districts. With a total GFA of 2,121,938 sq.m., Rui Hong Xin Cheng is the largest international community development within the city’s inner ring. Completed in 2003, Phase 1 is located at 333 Linping Road and features about 1700 units in ten high-rise towers. Covering an area of 42,000 sq.m., Phase 1 has a GFA of approximately 190,000 sq.m. that includes 12,000 sq.m. of green space, a 5,000 sq.m. shopping mall, a 2,500 sq.m. fitness club, a kindergarten and an underground parkade with about 230 parking spaces.

Completed in 2006, Rainbow City Phase 2 is located at 133 Linping Road and features about 1700 units in 13 high-rise towers and covering 45,000 sq.m.. It’s 200,000 sq.m. of GFA includes 13,000 sq.m. of central green space, a 30,000 sq.m. shopping mall (Rui Hong Lifestyle Square), a 4,500 sq.m. club house and an underground parkade with 460 parking spaces. Phase 2 is accessible by metro line 4’s Linping Road station.

Phase 3 is located at 333 Ruihong Road and features 248 units in two high-rise towers with a site area of 5,800 sq.m. and a GFA of approximately 45,000 sq.m.. Phase 3 also includes a 1700 sq.m. retail area, an exclusive 800 sq.m. clubhouse and an underground parkade with about 130 parking spaces. The affiliated No. 1 high school of Southeast China Normal University is nearby. Phase 3 was handed over to residents in June 2010.

Phase 4 is located at 181 Tianbao Road and includes two 37-floor and two 39-floor residential apartments covering an area of about 18,000 sq.m. and a GFA of 107,000 sq.m., as well as 10,000 sq.m. of supporting retail amenities. The four residential towers primarily offer two and three bedroom units ranging 80-140 square meters. Tower 6 features exclusive customized apartments which offer customers a range of options to tailor-make their living experience. Among the options are five distinct layouts and style: "Modern", "Warm", "Elegant", "Classic" and "Minimalist".

The Palette is the wide selection of lifestyle retailers and amenities that makes Rui Hong Xin Cheng the convenient and livable neighborhood that it is. Centred around Ruihong Road, the Palette spans eight blocks across each of Rui Hong Xin Cheng’s different phases. Phase 6—The Upper is located at 233 Ruihong Road, adjacent to RHTD commercial corridor and near the subway line 4. The Upper features four high-rise Apartments tower with a site area of 26000 sq.m. and a GFA of approximately 120,000 sq.m, providing 680 units of between 80-170 sq.m and includes a 2100 sq.m. of commercial. Phase 7—The Gallery is located at No. 368 Ruihong Road, Hongkou District, which is adjacent to Hall of the Moon, Ruihong Tiandi. The Gallery features five high-rise apartment towers, 2 superposition villas and some supporting retail amenities, with a GFA of approximately 155,000 sq.m. The Gallery creates an art garden, in cooperation with WAA, a world-renowned landscape design company, and with contemporary artists.
